This model is one of the top performing product in the China register of the independent high efficiency product registration programme TopTen (see www.topten.info) in the section for inverter driven air conditioners of wall mounted (split) type, capacity range 2.8 kW to 4.5 kW. The use of highly efficient heat exchangers and an inverter make this a very efficient model, similar to ones on sale in Japan.
The TopTen programme carries out independent research of product characteristics and submits around 30% of registered products for third party testing every year to ensure data reliability.

Annual electricity savings for cooling only would be € 89 and yield a payback period of 8 to 12 years. However, assuming an additional 1 500 hours for heating would yield additional savings of around € 193 per year would reduce the payback period to between 2.7 and 3.9 years.
Notes: Unit price is € 1,400 and an allowance of 30% has been made for installation cost. TopTen Europe estimated kWh figures based upon standard cooling season component of annual heating/cooling cycle calculation for Italy, with 500 hours of cooling per year. The quoted heating COP of the efficient and inefficient units from TopTen Europe were 6.13 and 3 respectively.
